Studio Hayes is the design and research work of Ben Hayes.
Ben is a British Architect and designer based between London and Hong Kong. His work ranges from built commissions, buildings, installations, curation and drawings.
Ben graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where he received the RIBA Silver Medal and SOM fellowship.
He has worked at a range of architectural practices around the world including; Foster and Partners in London and Beijing, 42 Architects, Matthew Springett Associates and Niall McLaughlin Architects in London. He has experience working on all scales of project, on a diverse range of architecture and building types.
He has taught and run design workshops for studios on both BSc undergraduate and the Masters programs at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
For the last six years, he has also been a visiting critic at various Architectural schools including the Bartlett School of Architecture, Architectural Association, London Metropolitan University, Suzhou University and University of Hong Kong.
Ben has held collaborative and solo exhibitions of his work in London and worked on a number of private architectural commissions in the UK and China.
He works as an architectural advisor to architectural heritage charities and collaborates with a wide range of designers from different disciplines.
